Juanita A. Ragle (August 20, 1890 - November 10, 1891), born and died in Toronto, Kansas, as an infant. The family story is that Algern's wife took the infant to a camp meeting in very bad weather over the objections of the father, and that the baby caught pneumonia.

From the Toronto Republican, Eureka Herald, Nov. 20, 1891:

"Died, Nov. 10 1891 Juanita H. Ragle, infant daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. Algern H. [sic] Ragle of this city, aged 1 year 2 months and 11 days. The funeral was preached at the M. E. church by the pastor, Rev. M. C. Culler, Wednesday afternoon, after which the remains were taken to the Toronto cemetery and there laid to rest. The grief-stricken young parents have the sincere sympathy of this entire community."
